We Believe in Our Kids
A great deal of time, energy and money goes into our Children’s Ministry. Our elementary Bible Class curriculum is designed to take all students through the entire Bible twice before they enter Middle School. The curriculum includes weekly and yearly memory work that is recognized at the end of each school year.
Through Bible classes and special events like VBS and Leadership Training for Christ, we provide a safe and secure environment for children along with resources, materials and training that will equip parents in the spiritual development of their children.
Yearly family activities include serving at our local soup kitchen, fishing tournaments, church-wide family retreats, Easter egg hunt, water park fun, Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, and a Back to School Lake Bash. We invite you to come grow and share in the Lord with us!
The Merrick Drive Children’s department serves children from birth to sixth grade.
Sunday morning bible classes will open for all ages starting Sept. 13th.
- Safety precautions will be taken in each class room.
- Classes will be disinfected weekly.
- Each child’s temperature will be taken before entering class.
- Hand sanitizer will available for each student during class period
- Parents of older children will be asked to provide face mask for their child. (face masks will be available in each class room for students, if child does not have one.)
- Younger children’s classes will have see-through partitions to help with social distancing.
