Foundation of Faith
At Merrick Drive, we believe every child is a precious gift from God. Our Children’s Ministry is committed to creating a loving, faith-filled environment where children can learn God’s Word, grow in their faith, and discover what it means to follow Jesus. From our dedicated teachers and helpers to the support of our elders and church family, our children are surrounded by people who love, encourage, and invest in them. We strive to build a strong foundation of faith while helping each child know they are valued, cherished, and an important part of our church family and God’s Kingdom.
Safety Procedures
The safety and well-being of every child is a priority. Each child must be checked into our security check-in system before attending Children’s Church or Bible Classes. Children receive a safety sticker, and parents/guardians receive a matching safety sticker to pick up your child(ren) from Children’s Worship and/or Bible Class.
We also carefully select those who serve our children. All children’s ministry volunteers have been members of Merrick Drive for at least six months and must complete a background check before serving.
